Please keep in mind:

Tracking updates will be provided as your parcel moves through the Australia Post network.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
-
Delays may occur due to weather, peak trading periods, public holidays, carrier disruptions or other circumstances outside our control.
Lost, Delayed & Missing Parcels
Occasionally, parcels may experience delays while travelling through the Australia Post network. A delayed parcel does not necessarily mean that it has been lost.
If Your Parcel Is Delayed
If your parcel has passed its expected delivery date, please first check your Australia Post tracking for updated delivery estimates, notifications or service delays.
Australia Post advises that most delayed parcels arrive within 5 business days of their expected delivery date.
If your parcel has not arrived after this time, you can lodge an enquiry directly with Australia Post.
How to Lodge an Australia Post Enquiry
You can lodge a delayed or missing parcel enquiry directly with Australia Post:
-
Visit Australia Post's Delayed, Lost or Damaged Items page.
-
Select the option relating to a delayed or missing parcel.
-
Enter your Australia Post tracking number and the requested delivery details.
-
Follow the prompts to lodge your enquiry.
-
Keep your Australia Post enquiry/reference number so the case can be followed up if required.
You can also contact Australia Post directly through its customer support channels.
If you lodge an enquiry yourself, please feel free to send us the Australia Post reference number so we can also assist from our end if required.
When Is a Parcel Considered Lost?
A parcel being late, experiencing a tracking delay or remaining at an Australia Post facility for an extended period does not automatically mean that the parcel has been lost.
Australia Post must be given reasonable time to locate and investigate a delayed parcel.
Where appropriate, Billy Goats Country Outfitters will lodge a late or missing parcel investigation with Australia Post and work with them to determine the parcel's location.
Refunds for Delayed or Missing Parcels
We do not issue refunds on the basis of a delivery delay alone.
Where tracking shows that an order has been dispatched and is still within the Australia Post network, we will assist with investigating the delivery.
If a parcel is believed to be lost in transit, a refund will not be processed until Australia Post has completed its investigation and confirmed the parcel as lost.
Once Australia Post confirms that a parcel has been lost in transit, we will work with you to arrange an appropriate resolution in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances and stock availability, this may include a replacement or refund.
This policy does not exclude or limit any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Parcels Marked "Delivered" but Not Received
If Australia Post tracking shows your parcel as delivered, but you cannot locate it, please:
-
Check around your property, including your mailbox and any safe-drop locations.
-
Check with other members of your household.
-
Check with neighbours, reception, building management or your workplace mailroom where applicable.
-
Check your Australia Post tracking or app for any delivery information or delivery location photo that may be available.
If you are still unable to locate the parcel, please lodge an enquiry with Australia Post or contact us so we can assist with the investigation.
A parcel marked as delivered will not automatically be considered lost or eligible for a refund. Australia Post must first investigate the delivery and determine what has occurred.
Authority to Leave & Safe Drop
Where available, Australia Post may provide Authority to Leave or Safe Drop options for eligible deliveries.
If you choose to have your parcel left in a safe place, Australia Post will determine whether the nominated location is suitable and whether the parcel can be safely left.
Please carefully consider where you request your parcel to be left, particularly if the location is visible or accessible from the street.
If tracking shows that a parcel has been delivered using Safe Drop but you cannot locate it, please check the delivery information in your Australia Post tracking or app, including any available delivery photo.
You should also check around your property and with other household members or neighbours before lodging an enquiry with Australia Post.
If the parcel still cannot be located, please lodge a delivery enquiry with Australia Post so they can investigate the delivery.
A parcel recorded as successfully delivered or Safe Dropped will not automatically be considered lost. Any refund or replacement will be considered once Australia Post has investigated the delivery and confirmed what has occurred, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Delivery Address
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct before submitting your order.
Billy Goats Country Outfitters cannot be responsible for delivery delays or additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied at checkout.
If you notice an error in your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to update the address if your order has not yet been dispatched.
Shipping Delays
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery is managed by Australia Post. While we will always assist where we can, delivery delays occurring within the carrier network are outside our direct control.
We will, however, assist our customers with Australia Post enquiries and investigations where required.
