About the Author

Heather Osborn is a respected Gippsland farmer, journalist and advocate for Australia's goat industry. With decades of hands-on farming experience, Heather has bred both Angora and Boer goats since 1977 and has been a passionate supporter of Australian agriculture throughout her career.

A former Chair of the Victorian Farmers Federation Goat Committee and a long-time contributor to Meat & Livestock Australia, Heather helped establish multi-vendor goat sales, industry seminars and mentoring programs for new producers. She also served as journalist and editor of the Gippsland Farmer newspaper and managed the Australian content for the international Goat Farmer magazine.

Drawing on a lifetime of agricultural knowledge, Rangeland Riches is Heather's debut novel, inspired by the remarkable people who live and work in Australia's remote pastoral regions and the often-overlooked importance of the goat industry.
